Howard Behrens

Howard Behrens is recognized as the Master of the contemporary expressionists. Since 1980, he has had over 120 one-man shows from coast-to-coast. His works are in galleries around the globe. Numerous articles have been written about his mastery of color. He is about to embark on a world-tour of celebrity charity events, including as a participant in the White House 200th Anniversary for Freedom and Democracy.

Unlike the myriad artists who try to imitate his style, Behrens possesses an almost magical ability to create works that resonate with color and light. His works are bold. They vibrate with color and texture because he paints with a palette knife instead of a brush. From the Lake Region of Italy to the Pacific Coast - Behrens captures the color, the light, and the timeless romance of the places he visits and paints - taking his collectors back with him to these familiar places each time they bask in the beauty of one of his timeless works.
