Yair, Moshe

Yair Moshe was born in 1959 in the old city of Safad, seventh generation. The artist is inspired by texts, which are written in the lanes of the old city. The texts paintings include a full wide world of the Jewish people. Among the texts can be found the songs of Solomon book, the grieving in Lamentation and the sorrow of Ecclesiastes, the suffering of the Jewish people in Egypt in the Passover Hagadah, the hardship in the desert etc. Yair also creates a series of 3-D and oil paintings, which are inspired by the lanes and passages of Safad. In all of Yairs works the holy ambiance of Safad emanates.
